Montana Vacation

What a great vacation
What a marvelous treat
Our trip to Montana will really be hard to beat!

We flew into Bozeman
To meet Ruth and Mel
They were excellent hosts and treated us well!

We went to a rodeo
And watched contestants ride and shoot
The Bozeman rodeo was really quite a hoot!

We traveled in a convertible
Seeing sight after sight
The most exciting views came in the night.

In Red Mountain Campground
On a late evening drive
We counted the deer on the mountain side.

While in Yellowstone National Park
Much to our delight
We saw some buffalo beginning to fight.

As we watched the buffalo cross the road
We had a great surprise
A buffalo came very close and looked us in our eyes.

He was tremendous
He gave us quite a scare
Then he walked off without even a care.

In Waterton, Canada
Where we saw deer after deer
We watched the Saints play but had no reason to cheer.

We floated down the Madison River
My tube lost a lot of air
I doubt I'll go again even with a dare.

And finally the highlight of my trip
Overhead, soaring high
I saw a Bald Eagle up in the sky.
