Joe and I are in Burnsville, North Carolina, once again. One of our favorite things to do when we are here is to sit on the porch early in the morning and drink our coffee. It's a family affair as Buster and Chloe sit with us. They like to sit and look just like we do. Today as we sat on the porch we enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeder. During the time it took us to drink our coffee, feel the cool breeze, and talk about our plans for the day, we saw a Robin, a pair of Cardinals, several Goldfinches, a Crested Titmouse, a Carolina Chickadee, and several doves. We also had the pleasure of spotting a couple of rabbits out for breakfast in our front yard. Oh how we love the mountains!
