How do you like your eggs?
I heard the waitress say.
Scrambled or poached
Or is sunny-side-up okay?
Or, the cook can whip you up
A delicious western omelet
With onions and peppers
But that’s not all you’ll get.
It comes with a side of hash browns
Fresh-squeezed orange juice in a glass
It’s our “Special of the Day”
So you might not want to let it pass.
It was right then that I looked
that waitress up close and in her eye
Please just bring me some coffee
Without some caffeine, I think I might cry!
