Iguanas are numerous in St. Thomas. We saw them everywhere, including begging for fries at the pool area! This particular iguana looked so peaceful that I wanted to touch it and see how it felt. But-------don't do it, they bite. A daring lady at the pool touched one and wished that she hadn't. The little sucker bit her and tore off a layer of her skin. Nope, not so cute now are they? Take a look, they definitely must be related to the dinosaurs.
