Grand Prize Winner: Jodie Stowe of Polkville, NC
Joe and I have just returned from Burnsville, North Carolina, where we enjoyed a fun-filled week and celebrated Thanksgiving with friends and family. A day into nearby Weaverville ended with a most pleasant surprise. While shopping at Mangum Pottery, the owner told us about the 2009 National Gingerbread House competition display at the famous Grove Park Inn which was just a few miles away. We hopped in the motor coach and below you will see a sampling of the gingerbread houses that we saw. This amazing display is free and will be available on Mondays through Thursdays until January 3, 2010. A must-see if you are in the neighborhood.
